Upcoming Formation Opportunities


Table Talks with Fr. Justin – A monthly discussion for people who want to chat with Fr, Justin about their faith. This group will meet in the St. Joseph Room of the parish center, starting at 9 a.m. on the first Saturday of the month. Fr. Justin will lead the discussions.


33-Day Consecration to St. Joseph  – Commencing Saturday, February 15, 10 a.m. in the Parish Hall;  culminating with the Feast of St. Joseph, March 19. Fr. Justin will lead weekly Saturday discussions. All men and women are encouraged to participate. This consecration practice is open to all parishioners of St Joseph and St. Agnes, and friends. We will be guided by the book: Consecration to St. Joseph, The Wonders of Our Spiritual Father. We will read the book on our own and meet each Saturday during the 33-day period for discussion. Books are available in the St. Joseph Church narthex (donations accepted), or can be purchased online at shopmercy.org in print. e-book and audio-book format. There also is a children’s version.


Teaching Mass –  All parishioners are invited to attend a "teaching Mass" with high school formation teens and their families. You'll experience a few "I didn't know that" moments during the presentation, featuring Fr. Mike Schmitz of Ascension Press via video. This will start promptly at 9 a.m. on Sunday, February 23 in the Parish Hall. Ham slider sandwiches, fruit, coffee, etc. will be available. RSVP by February 19 so we can plan the food need. Soup with Substance — Soup with Substance is a series of presentations on the Catholic Faith from well-known lay, religious, or ordained members of the Catholic church. Each presentation will offer tidbits on our Catholic beliefs, fellowship and a light supper. Our next session will be April 15.

A light supper starts at 6 p.m., with the presentations from 6:30-7:30 p.m. RSVP to the parish office at 414-771-4626.

St. Joseph – A Guide for the 21st Century Heroic Living in the “Insignificant” Parts of our Lives – March 11, 6:30-7:30 p.m. in the church. This presentation will look at our patron, St. Joseph, as he appears in the Church’s liturgy, in the Catechism, and in the Church’s social teaching. Joseph can be a companion to us in trying times, a guide to following God’s promptings in life, and a reminder to search for Christ in unexpected places and among the least of God’s people.
