Opportunities to Prepare for Easter at St. Joseph

St. Joseph Congregation in Wauwatosa will offer a variety of opportunities to prepare for Easter, which this year will be Sunday, April 20, 2025.

This will include devotionals such as the Stations of the Cross and a candlelight Rosary, and presentations such as one by Bishop Schuerman. Scroll down to see a list of the activities, with the Easter Triduum adjacent.

Easter Triduum 2025: April 17-20
  • Holy Thursday, April 17: Mass of the Lord's Supper 7 p.m. in church; night prayer 9:15 p.m. in the school library
  • Good Friday, April 18: Morning prayer 8:15 a.m. in the chapel; Passion service 1:30 p.m. in church
  • Holy Saturday, April 19: Morning prayer 8:15 a.m. in the chapel; Blessing of Easter foods 10 a.m. in the chapel; Easter Vigil Mass 8 p.m. in church
  • Easter Sunday, April 20: Masses at 8 and 10:30 a.m.

  • March 5: Ash Wednesday Masses at 8:15 a.m., 12:10 p.m. and 7 p.m.
  • March 6: Evening Adoration 6:30-7:30 p.m. in the chapel
  • March 7: First Friday Mass with Anointing of the Sick 8:15 a.m.; Stations of the Cross 6:30 p.m. in church
  • March 8: 33-Day Consecration to St. Joseph group discussions in the Parish/School Hall 10 a.m.; Parish Auction/Dinner in the Parish/School Hall 5 p.m.
  • March 11: Stations of the Cross immediately following the 8:15 a.m. Mass; "Heroic Living in the 'Insignificant' Parts of Our Lives talk by Gary Pokorny 6:30 p.m. in church
  • March 13: Candlelight Rosary 6:30 p.m. in church
  • March 14: Stations of the Cross 6:30 p.m. in church
  • March 15: 33-Day Consecration to St. Joseph group discussions in the Parish/School Hall 10 a.m.
  • March 16: Pray and Play and Donut Sunday after the 10:30 a.m. Mass in church, Parish/School Hall and gym
  • March 18: Stations of the Cross immediately following the 8:15 a.m. Mass
  • March 19: St Joseph Day Mass 6 p.m. followed by 7 p.m. dinner (RSVP required for dinner)
  • March 21: Stations of the Cross 6:30 p.m. in church
  • March 25: Stations of the Cross immediately following the 8:15 a.m. Mass; "Ask and You Will Receive" talk by Bishop Schuermann 6:30 p.m. in church
  • March 28: Stations of the Cross 6:30 p.m. in church
  • April 1: Stations of the Cross immediately following the 8:15 a.m. Mass; "Haven't Got a Prayer - Four Reasons and Two Ways to Pray" talk by Fr. Robert Kroll S.J. 6:30 p.m. in church
